I'm glad your dad is doing better! I love the Lunar Chronicles and I really liked how the series ended. Hope you enjoy Winter!

I read Winter with 30 years old and it was a 4 stars to me. It tidies up the story nicely. So worth the time and energy!! The book thief was a 5 stars, the first book of 2020!! Hugs from Argentina!!

My favourite retelling of Little Red Riding Hood is the '90s film Freeway with Reese Witherspoon and Kiefer Sutherland. The 'sequel' Confessions of a Trickbaby (sometimes called Freeway 2) is a retelling of Hansel & Gretel with Natasha Lyonne and Vincent Gallo. Wild stuff.

I'm so happy to here your dad will be returning home soon. I can't believe this month's book is The Rage of Dragons, I started it yesterday of my own accord. I think I might actually do the buddy read this month.

Elliot you got a fun tbr planned for May. So many intriguing book choices to try. Winter definitely has my interest the most as i love those classic story retellings. I might give Rage Of Dragons a try too cuz who doesn't like dragon action. I think May is going to be a more positive month for all of us. Sending your dad the bestest vibes. Have a great Happy Reading Day 💜

Wishing your Dad a speedy recovery! I literally just started Rage of Dragons today because the homeslice, Daniel Greene hyped it up and so far it’s really really good!! Cant stop reading.

Have you considered finishing the Assassin's Apprentice trilogy? I know it wasn't your favorite, and honestly the next two in the series are very similar, BUT it lays down a lot of lore for the Liveship Traders trilogy which has become one of my favorite series.

I just started reading Winter a few days ago, tho I don't know if picking up a book with a plague in the current situation was a smart decision on my part 😅 Looking forward to hearing your thoughts on it, whenever you manage to get to it. I hope your dad recovers soon ♥

I'm going to mix Asian readathon with medieval one in May because my Asian dedicated package is nowhere near to be shipped so I won't have many Asian writers/characters oriented books
