Honestly for Brine Shrimp, for a limited period of time, I really don’t see any particular harm. They look spectacularly unbothered by the whole thing.

Other larger animals are obviously a very different thing.

Would definitely forget about them somewhere in my room as a kid 😢 I don't know if kids should be trusted to scoop animals in and out of tiny receptacles from their aquarium, and remember to put them back, "even" if it's just shrimp

As someone who has had sea monkeys a few times, I had those wrist temporary aquariums. I hated them because it's so hard to get them back out. When you drain them they get stuck to the walls.

I did love them so much, but I’m in two minds about them, I would like it as a very temporary place of residence for my Sea monkeys to explore and travel with me, but all the motion and shaking and bumping and temperature differences might not be the best for them in a small confinement of a watch or locket, so maybe the time has come to put theses toys in the past and admire them from the safety of their tanks.

It feels wrong, but I think I would have loved it as a kid. I also think I would probably have killed my brine shrimps with it. Either by keeping them in it too long or by subjecting them to too extreme conditions (like heat or cold).
