The first month of growth of my Sea-Monkeys (Days 1-30 )

In this video I show how to set up a sea monkey ocean volcano tank and document their growth over the first month. I use macro lenses and a microscope to show a time lapse of their development as they grow out in their tank. I give some tips for keeping them alive and show how much they grow in a week and a month until they are fully grown. Soon I will also show videos of the magic castle and mars sets.

My 1st ever Sea Monkey colony is 6 days old today! Thanks for this video! My babies are right on track, and I love the way their bodies change and grow so quickly. I watch them with a lighted magnifying 🔎 every day. I CAN'T STOP! My daughter said I'm obsessed, like that's a bad thing 😂 love my 🌊 🐒

Hi! I received my sea monkeys a few days a go, and started the volcano tank yesterday, I followed your instructions and they are alive! *my package #2 was ruined and thought it was not going to work, but it did! * thank you !!
(A little tip I can give is that with a pice of clothe or a new sock fill it with rice and sew it up, you put it on the microwave and its going to be warm so with a towel wrap it up around your tank it works so well. :)

As a child I was fascinated by the ad at the back of comics but I was also a cynical child and didn't believe the sell. Sea Monkeys!? Right. This video has beautifully answered a question that remained in my childish subconscious for decades. So it's true! Not quite monkeys, but far more. A miracle of aquatic evolution. Thank you!

This video was amaaazing!! Being able to see their growth under a microscope was incredible. And i didnt know the female sea monkeys give birth! I thought they just laid their eggs and they'd hatch from there. Thank you for this video! You're incredibly underrated, im glad i stumbled across your video today. Back to watching more videos!

I didn't have a clue what sea monkeys were, and I happened upon your video when I decided to use YT as a search engine. Thank you so much for a really good and informative introduction to these little creatures!

I had these when I was a kid and decided to start a tank, I actually have the exact same one you have in the video. Its nice to see a new tank and not the old ocean zoo one. I have just put packet 2 in today and can already see one lone baby. I am using a usb air pump and submersible heater.

Watching your other video on the red Seamonkeys, I might even give that stuff a go to see what happens.

The Sea Monkeys advertisements on the back of comic books were scary. They freaked me out when I was a kid!

Update on my sea monkeys- I have so many sea monkeys and I can see all there tiny legs swimming around and I can even see some of the larger ones eyes. They are absolutely adorable and I love watching them swim around and peck at the algae on the bottom

Awesome footage... Love the microscope video, the best close up footage I've seen of sea monkeys. I've kept neocaradina shrimp in the past, the mother fans the eggs to oxygenate them, I'm guessing it's similar for the brine shrimp. Neocaradina need a lot of oxygen actually, if you don't run a pretty strong bubbler it can end poorly 😢

Love this channel/videos and after finding this channel I quickly subscribed! 😄 So informative and love all the content 🙂 I used to have sea monkeys when I was a kid but I couldn’t ever keep them alive for long, so these videos peaked my interest. I’m sure my new attempts will be much more successful following the information in these videos 😊 Thank you for the great content!
