An unboxing and review of the Sea-Monkeys keychain Aquamaze

In this video I show the sea monkeys aqua maze from Exploratoy. I also show some other exploratoy products such as the penquarium, aquarium wrist watch and the robo diver kit. I give a tutorial on how to use both the keychain aquarium section for brine shrimp and also the elctronic maze game.

Totally weird product. The best thing about it is how weird it is. As a toy, there’s not much play value there on either side of the keychain egg. Like you pointed out, the Sea-Monkeys can only stay in the cramp space for a short period of time and the novelty of the electronic game is short lived as well.

I’d love to know who was the driving force behind this, George or Harold? My suspicion is, someone brought them the game mechanism and they came up with a use for it. That has happened before. Regardless, it’s ultimately lame but that Exploratoy period was definitely the peak of the Sea-Monkey line. Sadly, I doubt it will ever be repeated.

maze looks like it'd be fun for kids, and encourage those fine motor skills, it's a cute toy, tho i'd probably put some tiny plastic fake fish or sea creatures in it long term if i had one

I took mine to work last year with my Sea-Monkeys to show my coworkers 😂. I do like the game and I purposely hit the sides to hear the whole range of sounds. I mainly bought it for the Aqua Leash since the design is better (and more durable in my opinion) than the purple ones that are out. Yet I'm afraid of wearing it out so I only use it when mixing the salts or transferring the Sea-Monkeys 😂.

Thank you so much for all the information on your channel. I have been pushed into a science camp for my job with kids this summer. Only problem is it’s only 4 days long but my boss wants me to do sea monkeys with them. I was worried about what we would do with them after but you have helped me see that I can keep them alive and well! And possibly even use a couple as a quick snack for my betta fish.

This accessory is very unique and weird? I Shaw the one that you have online but didn’t really want to put my sea monkeys under any stress so instead I decided to scroll past it, but I did do some research about it and I read that these toys were made for kids to show off at school or at party’s? But I had one of those I would definitely keep it at home. Cool review though! I remember watching you at 30k subs! Time flys!
