Unboxing a vintage Sea Monkeys aquarium watch toy.

In this video I do an unboxing of the sea monkey aquarium watch and show you how to use it by adding Sea Monkeys from my Ocean Zoo tank. I also give some tips on how to get sea monkeys fully grown after 5 years with a time lapse of their growth in rare sea monkeys kits. Oh how nostalgic! I was worried about shaking my sea Monkeys too much when I used to take them to school in the late 90s. I would hold my wrist stiff horizontally all the way to school and as I walked lol. Then I would twist off the aquarium and place it on my desk. It was so much fun to watch them!

I had that watch in blue, many years ago! I wore it to the DMV once, lol (maybe an hour or two?). Also, if I recall correctly, packet 4/Plasma has salt and likely additional eggs to help get your tank numbers back up.

When i was in 7th and 8th grade i used to bring these to my school and watch them swim around. After i went to 9th grade sadly my three Sea-Monkeys passed away, R.I.P ( Di Stefard, Planits, Vrake, )
And that was my 1st ever pet so i was bit sad they passed away. Now in my collage i was lonely so bought these again and i will take very good this time!

I got one as a kid from toys r us and all they had was yellow at the time. It was hanging like grocery stores hang toys in random aisles. I only took one of my favorites with me to school once before only using it as a watch after that because I worried about them dying.

I question the ethics of this product as well, but I agree that as long you don't keep them in there all day or shake them to death, they should be fine. It's actually a very neat and cute novelty idea. Although, I'm not sure how well kids would be with it, but a kid who wants to bring their sea monkeys out and about probably has some level of love for their pets anyway.

As a watchmaker, that's a really bad idea as you recly don't want a watch battery coming into contact with slightly salty water, it could make the battery leak and result in an acid burn, for you not the brine shrimp.
