fun fact, those small pockets of lava you find in the nether while blast or strip mining are called "dinner pockets" dinner bone originaly made them to discourage strip mining in the nether (idfk why) but they existed before the nether overhaul and never got removed after the overhaul

More tips:
1. Tnt is more expensive but it's faster because you can make long chains
2. For tnt place 2 then a one block gap
3. Mine along chunk borders for more ancient debris
4. Tnt makes less fire than beds so it's less annoying if you don't have fire resistance
5. Bring fire resistance if you can
6. Using an elytra and fire resistance you can fly under lava and mine the ancie debris since it won't burn. For this use rockets with length 3 (1 paper + 3 gunpowder = 3 rockets) to fly further
7. Remember to unequip your elytra or touch the ground or you will lose a lot of durability for nothing
8. Mine blocks around ancient debris, some times it spawns in diagonal veins
9. The reason you avoid basalt delta is so you don't run into as much lava
10. The crimson forest is bad for the same reason as the soul sand valley. Piglins and hoglins will spawn in your tunnel (or skeletons if you're in the soul sand valley) and attack you while you are mining
11. If you use beds you should bring planks and wool and craft the beds as you mine because they don't stack
12. (From @cheesypies5166) If you insist on brining beds instead of crafting, buy them from a shepherd villager (2 string + 4 planks = loom) for one emerald (after discounts)
