Edit: I agree totally with taking some time out to enjoy yourself. I found myself spending 90% of my time on videos, 10% on actually racing - restoring that balance a bit actually led to being way more inspired and motivated to make videos. It's the ol' fable of spending time sharpening the axe so you can cut faster

That’s exactly why I avoid making online racing videos. It’s so frustrating when others don’t take it seriously and end up ruining someone else’s race. But you’ve got a good point, and I hadn’t looked at it that way before. Most people are just there to have fun and probably don’t care that I’m trying to record a video. And honestly, why should they?
It’s a good perspective to keep in mind.

I've had about 6 months off from regular online races. I've raced occasionally when I felt like it but probably only a couple times a month. I've just started racing regularly in the last week or so and feel much better for it. Feels fresh, I feel like I drive better despite the break and I'm having fun again. If you're hobby is becoming a chore, take a break because you need it.

I hear ua about taking a break. I normally do the 12 weeks straight. Then the 13th week I’m off racing altogether. It is refreshing

That's the main problem for us content creators: on the one hand you love to spend time for racing and on the other hand you need more time than you wish to make the videos so you can offer the viewers best experiences while watching your videos...

Unfortunately I’ve been “ that guy” recently and I’m not proud of it. When I look back at the incidents I’ve been involved with I could definitely have done a lot better if I just relaxed and been smarter. Great work mate 👍🏻
