I topped out at 6300 on oval a few years back.

What needs to be done to find out is take the top 5 drivers from each of the 4 types of series by taking the highest ir drivers out of the top 10 or so drivers in the points at the end of the year, then put them in a gauntlet type series with 1 oval, 1 road, 1 dirt, and 1 dirt road track. The driver with the best average finish over the 4 races is declared the best driver on iracing. But the only thing is, all 4 tracks must be brand new track that none of the drivers have ever put a lap on in iracing until the race

tbh I'm convinced Max Verstappen is still undisputed be it in real life or the sim. Every time I've seen that guy enter the car in any endurance event, by the end of his stint the gap to P2 was extended by 20 seconds at the very least and that guy is just doing it as a hobby outside of being one of the best to ever do it in real life. Imagine what he'd achieve if he had time for esports
