Lots of issues can arise when you aren’t aware of how to optimally breathe when you lift.😮‍💨 Dr. Mike has curated some great tips.

Breathe 360 degrees into your diaphragm and hold.
SNAP your Transverse Abdominis back and hold.
Maintain the breath and the SNAP during both the ascent and descent.

This technique helps you maintain your intra abdominal pressure, which gives your spine the most support.

Our Back & Core program begins with integral breathwork before progressing to spinal alignment and strength. It’s all laid out for you in our membership and we’d love to help you Fix Yo S#!t and avoid issues in your future!

You said take in deep diaphragmatic breathing and hold but you pointed tummy and he popped out the tummy … diaphragm is under your lower rib cage and with breathing expanding side to side is the correct diaphragmatic breathing .. well come 😬
