How to Install LED Headlights on a Toyota Prius 2010-2015 (EASY DIY) LED Headlight Conversion

In this video we are replacing a headlight bulb on a 2015 Toyota Prius but instead of using a halogen bulb we are installing a LED headlight bulb on the Prius. It will be the same for a 2010 prius LED Headlight, 2011 Prius LED Headlight, 2012 Prius LED Headlight, 2013 Prius LED Headlight, 2014 Prius LED Headlight. LED headlight conversion on a gen 3 toyota prius is very easy with the right bulb kit.

Ayeee the lambo got an upgrade wohoo 🥳 !!!! Eric many people say that upgrading is bad because it messes up with electrical connections, voltage issues probably, here in India. But your lights don’t seem to be very extreme so I guess this is a very smart and accurate decision.

Nicely done. Changed a few bulbs out myself plus an older LED swap. It's a bit more work, but the driver's right side (left as you face the engine), it is easier if you unbolt and move that tank that's on the right fender!

Thanks for the video! I haven’t built up the nerve to install LEDs yet but definitely needed the assist on that passenger side bulb install 😅 thought I had a defective new bulb but it was operator error. 🤙🏽

One of my halogen low beams is out, so I'm planning to do this with some Auxbeam GX H11 bulbs on my 2012 Prius.

Your instructions were so helpful! My auto repair guy helped me pick out the correct LED bulbs and said he would do it but if I looked up on YouTube I could probably save money and do it myself. Same as @katiearina, I was able to swap both bulbs on my 2014 Plug-In Prius. I acidentally swapped out the high beam bulb first, not realizing there were two (lol-duh). Then using the same method, swapped out the headlight bulb. How to align and turn, plus the purple positive polarity was invaluable. Very easy with your instructions. Thank you!

Great video. Just did this update to my 2010 Prius headlights and I love it! What are the little dim bulbs above the headlight? One of mine is out and I’d like to upgrade those. Is that possible?

I found out 2 fuses for the low beam headlights are missing. Is that why my headlights are so dim?

nice tutorial. im gonna install interior ambient lighting soon that plugs in through the cigarette port. there’s a way to instead connect the lighting wires to the headlight wires, so that it automatically turns on with the headlights. no idea at all how to do it tho or what wires to connect it to or where to route the wire from the inside to outside. need your help big man

My low beams keep burning out every few months. Will this solve my problem? Heard it has something to do with the wiring harness.
