Nice review, and huge thanks to you guys for reviewing the base model - i.e. the one that will actually sell. So many YouTube reviews are of 'Platinum' or 'Grand Touring' trim levels that no one buys. And let's hope that hybrid version comes along soon, eh?

My parents were in a car accident and their car was totaled. So this coming out is amazing because it gives them what they need for a very affordable price. They just ordered one from the dealership. The car shortage makes it so nobody can test drive a vehicle as all that come in are already purchased. When car shopping they looked at other models that were more expensive so this is a great thing when in a pinch of a situation.

Thanks great review. I sat in one of these today at the dealer and it was a good fit. Was looking at the new RAV4 and it felt bigger and higher up than expected. The Corolla Cross looks more like the RAV4 I had in 05 and really liked.
I’m leaning towards the CC but wasn’t able to test drive one. The one I sat in was someone else’s preorder.
Would love to hear more feedback if anyone in the comment section has bought one or even test drive one.

Is it me, or dose the new Corolla Cross look like a smaller Rav 4 from the side and the back??

I'm surprised that Toyota have you testing the entry level "L" model! On most of these releases, they want nothing but the top trim level to be reviewed. I think the front end looks like a RAV4 Junior!! I'm sure they'll sell a ton of these. Has this model not been impacted by the semi conductor shortage?

Great job Drew & Mason! This C Cross should be a hit. I hope they will come out with a turbo in the future but Toyota doesn’t do turbos in the cars I guess. Too bad. This will be great for people above 45-50 years old that want to buzz around town. I love how you guys are using the the 2 pointing index finger gesture! It works!
