I happened upon this video today, and am glad I did. Very informative! Back in 1989, I'd gotten out of the Air Force, returned home to Ohio from North Dakota, and was taking a college course in electronic engineering. Almost every day I would go out to my car at lunchtime, fire up my mobile radio (which may or may not have been set to a frequency *between* 11 and 10 meters ... cough, cough) and like dialing a phone, my friends in ND and I in OH would talk for about an hour. That experience (right or wrong) is part of why I have my license today and a TS-450SAT on my desk.

Thanks for putting out content like this, Kyle, and to Carl K9LA for presenting. It's good for all interested *or* involved in the hobby.

Yea it worked itself out. Good presentation tho. Seems like it all doom and gloom ;) better pack up the radio gear the bands are gonna suck. Time to head for the hills!
