For those saying the skater is crying; it's actually an involuntary response to a hard trauma on the brain. It basically reboots itself or freezes for a moment to try and evaluate what has happened, but it means our motor function and ability to speak are hindered.

There was a case similar that happened on a season of The Ultimate Fighter where one guy takes a heavy, HEAVY blow to the head and just moans and whines on the ground for over a minute.

the guy who did this literally commented saying that he didn't actually hit his head. he was on a skating trip but when he slammed and hurt his rib, he knew he wouldn't be able to skate for the rest of the trip. do your research before making an uneducated video putting skaters in a bad light.

Ain’t nun wrong w my brain 😂if anything it would have been a rib 😭 and yea it definitely hurted but I was more so crying bcuz I knew as soon as I hit the ground I wouldn’t be able to try it again that day nd I had to fly back home like 2 days after dat bruh so I felt like I failed 😂☠️☠️☠️

My uncle passed away from not wearing a helmet while skating and a couple of years ago my dad almost passed away and had to have reconstructive surgery done on his face so definitely be safe out there

Grew up never wearing a helmet, but a lot older and wiser now, I always wear my helmet. Let’s stay safe out there.

I had a friend who skateboarded in the bike lane to get to and fromm college. He often wore a full motorcycle helmet because he also had a bike and prefered it. He was run over by a car. He spent weeks in a coma and recoved with loss of smell/taste and personality changes. If he didn't have the helmet he wouldn't be here. You can be the works safest skate boarder and all it takes is one car running a light to delete you.

As a doctor you should know the damage is caused by the brain hitting the skull not the ground. They’ve basically given up on making a helmet that can stop concussions because it’s impossible
