To the guy recording this, I’m sorry that happened to you but if you had any scratches or any open wounds at all on you feet and ankles, you can get deathly Ill walking around in that! If you start to feel sick, you need to get to the emergency room asap!

The toilet is not the culprit here. There's something much worse going on
With everything backing up.

A. Don’t live downstairs at anytime in your life!
B. City Sewer manhole is backing up into your place.
C. City will clean it up,
Pay for your damages.
They pay hotel and apartment somewhere until you can move back in.
D. If it’s a house you own, get an attorney it will be worth it.
E. City is totally at FAULT for not maintaining there city line ( manholes)

My friend toilet overflowed. In a state of panic she tried to use a plunger to stop the flow then the sewage started coming up from the tub. She was barefoot the entire time. 3 days later, she started feeling extremely ill. I pray that this person didn't fall ill.

That’s not the toilet. That’s the entire sewer exit line. It’s coming up through the sinks and the tub too. Likely the city’s fault.

At that level, the state would have to provide for the damages. That’s from the main sewage line. You as a home owner have no control over that
