Very good. I live in Florida and have to take 10, 000iu D3 daily to achieve 83ng/ml. 10, 000iu is .25 mg D. If I had a severe cancer I would increase it drastically. Iodine is also critical to avoid cancer since we are all deficient. Iodine is stored in the thyroid, salivary glands, breasts, pancreas, gut, ovaries and prostate. Where do most cancers occur? Hmmmm.... Since most ocean fish is farmed, no iodine. Then we have the toxicity of chlorine, bromide and fluoride which inhibits the absorption of iodine by the thyroid. Women are more deficient than men since they have more estrogen which inhibits iodine. If everyone had optimum levels of D3, iodine and magnesium cancer rates would drop significantly.

Vitd3 needs vit k2-mk7 plus magnesium to work properly just like a car driver petrol/gas 😊

Why didn’t the doctor mention that if you also supplement with k2 the risk of calcium build up is eliminated. D3 should always be taken with k2, there are many supplement pills that contain both.

Food sources of vitamin D

The best food sources of vitamin D are oily fish, including salmon, mackerel, and sardines. Other sources include egg yolks, red meat, and liver.

I gained a lot of weight during C-19 and had to guess how much I needed and 40, 000 IU of D3/day was it. few months ago I had my level checked and it came at 120 nanomoles/ml. My doc said this was fine as Health Canada has an upper limit of 180 and the dangerous level set at 300.

This is why all the oldies are so sick stuck in their rooms, no sun no vitamin D and K2.
No magnesium, no multi, no nothing... Drs should tell the Nurses caring for the aged
to use and give all the supplements instead of sleeping pills. I had my mother in law
in a Nursing home, I used to sneak in all the supplements.

In Canada, you're insufficient under 75 nmol. I'm at 57 after 1 year of carnivore. Sounds like I'm not doing too bad according to this guy, but my doctor says I should take a multivitamin. Not sure I need to.

My 73 yr old husband plays golf twice a week and is a competitive bass angler so spends days baking in the sun on a boat. He tested at 34. 😬. I’m an indoor mushroom but I take 10000 units a day (also take K) to keep my d number at 75 ish. Guess who else takes D now? 😉

60-70 nanograms per mL of what? How would we calculate our own need?

If your iPTH is over 1200, what do you do? And you are on dialysis. Do you give Activated Vitamin D, high doses? If you do, then will that increase Calcium exponentially, which must be tightly controlled by the body.
