like the concept but a lot of wrong information in this, #1 cico, calories in calories out as long as you’re getting your 1.1g protein per pound of bodyweight sugar isnt bad nothing is “bad” but too much of anything can make you gain fat. #2 the math is seriously wrong the 160 (weight) x 18 is just horribly inaccurate, and i have proof of that as i am ~152lbs and last week i lost a pound eating 22000 cals (3100 ish a day) my maintenance is around 3.4k cals. It doesn’t matter your weight obviously to an extent it does but what matters more is your height, age, amount of muscle, and most importantly your activity level. A blanket statement saying that if you want to bulk and they weigh 160 for me and my age, height, amount of muscle, and activity level 2900 would be a severe deficit and could make someone believe that they’re doing something wrong and give up because of invalid information when in reality their daily calories to bulk could be closer to 4k. All i’m saying is if you’re going to try to give advice to beginners who don’t know any better please fact check it and research your stuff so people don’t think the wrong things. Happy new year.
