I've been a part of centurylink for roughly 3 years now and after 3 years the customer sport I'm kind of thinking about switching over the xfinity.

Stay away from centurylink at all costs! I thought Comcast/Xfinity was bad...then I met centurylink. Sales reps and customer service lie through their teeth.

Xfinity is hands down best internet provider, good speeds, decent prices, very good customer service. CenturyLink has unreliable speeds, unreliable customer service, very good prices.

I would advise against letting this company (CenturyLink) have your credit card information. They charged me $100 without providing any service, and now they are not honoring their word to refund my money in a timely manner. They charged me Jan 24, and have yet to refund anything. They are saying that although they have the capability to charge your card, they can only issue a refund via a check. Yet, I'm sure they have no intention of cutting me a check. But alas, my "case" has been escalated, which I think means that they will not honor their obligations that much quicker.

CenturyLink cannot provide a reliable speed or reliable price they are so awful here in Minnesota I have never had a worser internet provider

In las vegas I had cable internet by cox for 500mbps and up for 100$ and was going up yearly and with contract, when the contract ended the price was going to 120$ so I switched to centurylink no contract for 67$ 140mbps no data cap and was surprised to know it was DSL internet 🤣 amazing how such old technology isn’t that far off from cable, granted maybe it’s due to my location and other logistics but I’ve heard people complain all over usa and the world about how bad dsl internet is, sometimes comparable to dial up lmao 🤣 I guess I’m just lucky

One of my bills before paying 114 a month for unlimited data on xfinity was 280 after going over a 1tb data with only 2 of us in the house and no cable, when they said we shouldn't ever go over. I have yet tried century link but i have fiber ablity cuz there line is 25 steps from my house, so I am thinking about switching this week cuz I hate paying so much money, for xfinity and not being able to hardly save money for emergency's.

century link has a data cap but doesn't charge you extra if you go over and Comcast wants to charge you extra 50 bucks if you want unlimited also Comcast nickels and dimes you any way

Never DSL. I like speed but I wouldn't choose either if I had a choice. Comcast seems to have all areas and there isn't any other better one then comcast right now. Until Google fiber is done going all over the place. Of course the stupid lockdown is ruining everything.

I found CenturyLink to be faster than Xfinity and I just got rid of CenturyLink and got Xfinity Xfinity to be slower

CenturyLink is awful. Slow and goes out constantly. Too unreliable to even think about working over the internet with this service. Just hoping another internet provider comes to my area some day. They seem to have third world technology. And customer service reps are all foreigners (to the USA) that speak in broken english. Don't even bother trying to complain!

Comcast Service in Denver Area it is the worst during the peak hours, mornings, primetime and the weekends, forget about calling CC, they always tell you to reset the Modem or buy a new model?
they upgrade modems every two months so you'll always be slow trying to catch up buying new equipment and spend more money on their overpriced service. Take your time an look for an alternative to Comcast, they only care about their stock price: CMCSA and to the PHUCK with the customers.
