Oddly perfect timing. I live in the US, and recovered from a particularly nasty ear infection just a few days ago. I had considered just trying to tough it out due to finances but, it came on so fast, I ended up going anyway. Very glad I did, never knew just how potentially harmful they are.

Had so many ear infections as a kid, think it was glue ear as my father was nice enough to smoke in the house. Can't see why I don't speak to him. However I have lost alot of hearing in my left ear.

I am always plagued by massive double ear infections, when I was little, the pediatrician I had nearly called child services on my mother because my ears were to the point of rupturing my eardrums, I didn't complain, cause I felt no pain

thank you. One of the first trials of penicillin, was on a man who was dying from an ear infection. It did clear up the infection (for a bit) but there was not enough penicillin to fully clear up the infection.
