“I can’t be a part of that.” Dude I’d do the same thing. Staying out of this one!

There is nothing wrong with a prenup done the correct way. Springing it on someone in public a few days before the wedding is not the right way.

I think WWYD has done this scenario wrong. Next time show a loving fiance (man) and not a rude red flag man pressuring his fiance to sign a prenup. Come to it from a loving tone and see if the reactions are different. Also would be interesting to see the woman asking the man to sign a prenup.

This is definitely one of the dumber ones. Why would any stranger get involved in this?

Prenups can be very useful, but that's definitely a 'we're thinking about getting engaged' conversation, not a 'we're literally about to walk down the aisle' conversation.

There are so many things wrong in this situation.

1. You don't just ambush anyone the week of the wedding. That's just wrong.

2. You don't just AMBUSH someone and literally force them to sign a prenup the week of the wedding. That's just wrong.

3. The last scene is too forceful.... everyone will side with the woman.

4. Should also do it both ways. A woman asking the man to sign a prenup.

If I heard these actors.... I would mind my own business.

I wouldn't take offence to a prenup. I think it's just security if the worst things happen, like insurance on your house or assests. You never want anything bad to happen, you don't expect it to but it's best to covered just incase.

Props to the female actress.. she really got into that role and sold it!

What would I do? Change seats and mind my own business.

How about NOT bringing this up at a bar, the week of the wedding, rudely in front of everyone? In this scenario, it's not the prenup that's the problem.

The only problem here is that it was never discussed until the week of the wedding. Pre-nups should always be discussed early on.

As romantic as getting married sounds, most marriages end in divorce and if you are not prepared to talk about a prenuptial agreement then you’re likely not ready to get married. Getting a prenuptial agreement saves you a lot of headache for what will more than likely end up being an issue down the road. Of all the weddings I’ve been to in the near 38 years I’ve been alive I can count four or five couples that are still together and even then they’re not from western cultures. I always offer men I get involved with a prenuptial agreement so that they know I am not after any of their assets.

I cannot believe that having a pre-nup is still being debated in 2024.

Pre-nup is a must. Always.

0:41 "if im the one with the money, i want a prenup. If HES the one with the money, no prenup baby, take care of me"...

what a joke...

WWYD has pretty much covered everything, and done it brilliantly, but this one is stretching its point as no-one would talk about a pre-nup in a public place. Lawyers would be involved, and it would be private. Kinda silly.

im a woman and so many men in the US got zero in the end after divorce. so i feel for the guy. Divorce law just don't protect men. Many even ended up homeless. I signed my husband's prenup but he was just testing me. He changed his mind after a few days. But then i asked him to make a will that everything should go to his daughter when the inivitable happens.
