I’m sorry if this sounds discriminatory but growing up I was always told that Asian women would marry any white man and I always felt sorry for them when I heard that. It made me feel like they were desperate and willing to do anything to get away from making them unhappy, but after seeing Rose and how she felt towards Ed, I felt so much better about them. Like the rumors weren’t true and these women are just like every other woman out there chasing opprotunities and possibilities. Ed offered her nothing of the sort. I’m glad she left him, I’m so happy she didn’t end up with him because this girl deserved better
