Your rosemary did nothing. If you want it to infuse with the butter, you need to let it cook in the butter

For anyone wondering:
All you need is high heat and salt+pepper.

I always thought it was best to remove the tendon/connective tissue on scallops. Have you noticed a difference in taste when you keep it on?

Pointless adding the rosemary when you don't let it hit the butter to release its flavour. Also half the amount would work.
