How to FIND and REMOVE Duplicates in Excel

In this video tutorial, you will learn how to find and remove duplicates in Excel.

This video covers the following examples:
- FIND and HIGHLIGHT duplicates in a single column.
- FIND and HIGHLIGHT duplicates in multiple columns.
- FIND and HIGHLIGHT duplicates rows.
- Remove Duplicate Data points.
- Remove Duplicate Rows.

Find and Highlighting duplicate data points can easily be done using conditional formatting. It has an inbuilt option that allows you to quickly highlight duplicates.

Once you have highlighted duplicates, you can manually delete this one by one or filter and delete all at once.

There is also an inbuilt feature that allows you to quickly remove duplicates in Excel. You can select the data, go to the Data tab and click on Remove Duplicates. Then you can simply select the column from which you want to remove duplicates and it will instantly delete those.

This procedure is not general!
If there were two numbers in a row, then the unique string might not be unique, for example:
"12" & "21" = "1221" vs "1" & "221" = "1221" ... Different default dates but same the resulting string...
This can also happen when merging texts. For example, have two columns "class" and "group":
"a" & "ba" = "aba" vs "ab" & "a" = "aba" ... Again different input data, but the same the resulting string.

When creating a unique string, you need to insert the separators (I use the "|" pipe or "~" tilde because they are practically not used in the common text.), for example:
"12" & "|" & "21" = "12|21" vs. "1" & "|" & "221" = "1|221"
or
"a" & "|" & "ba" = "a|ba" vs "ab" & "|" & "a" = "ab|a"

Question- I have data in 6 column and data are same in all columns (data like- B200089NT67) when I select data range and apply condition formatting duplicate then all duplicate highlights but when go to duplicate remove option and apply then I find error "No duplicate find value" so how to solve it.

I had also checked all data extra space using Trim and also checked cell value is correct.
