Same way with blueberry/vanilla donuts and cupcakes! One of my first jobs was as a donut maker, and one of the most popular donuts was a blueberry cake donut. The batter smelled like really cheap, sugary vanilla perfume, and it took me YEARS before I could eat strongly vanilla flavored things!

This reminds me to my childhood when my mom came back home with a bag full of tomatoes every once in a while, and asked me to peal them and take the seeds out after she boiled them. Now I realize that after all the cutting, pealing and scoping, I didn't have the will to eat the cascos de tomate ( a sweet made with tomatoes) she made later.🙈

I still hate hotels for this exact reason. Overall bad experiemces while working at one made me rather drive 2 straight days to get somewhere than to stop at a hotel.
