I think a large percentage of alien ship encounters are actually us from the future for the simple fact that as much as we already have learned about the time-space continuum, which is admittedly not much yet, it's almost inevitable we'll figure it out if we are around long enough. So because of that Occam's razor thing, asking which is more likely, you have to ask which is more likely 1) that aliens from unfathomable distances found wormhole bridges and found us (or sent robots in their stead) or 2) Humans from the future figured out the timeline and came back to visit? And I'll admit I have NO IDEA the likelihood of #1 but #2 seems fairly likely to me.

Bielek first made up everything, but over time he actually created alternative past where some of these things occurred as dream is reality and reality is a dream. They did took him into future, because he saw me in my next life as I was age 13 over there and he was a tourist guide for a while before time warp opened again. In my own future I will step into time warp because I am working on time travel project right now, but to regenerate and avoid certain physical death.

time travel movies like that whole Kyle Reese-John Connor thing never make sense but I do have to wonder if one thing about them isn't true: if you change stuff in the past will the future turn out different? And to what extent? Ray Bradbury thought killing a moth in the past was enough to change almost everything in his short story Sound of Thunder.
