Y’know what I find really funny? The fact that they originally created Sims 4 for people to be able to play it on laptops and such unlike Sims 3 etc. and yet the game has become so big and technologically busy, my laptop sounds like it’s going to explode if I look at it wrong. I had to buy a new cable for my laptop fan because I lost the other one and if I don’t use the fan at full power, my laptop will start going crazy. None of this news sounds very laptop compatible, EA! Not that you care 😒

I don't know how I feel about this. Part of me is happy because ea is known to abuse the sims franchise and its fanbase but having constant dlc drops that are overly expensive, especially for things that are an everyday thing. My dad has bought everything expansion for sims2 and up. That was part of the reason when he heard of sims 5 coming out he was very exasperated about it.

The other part of me thats sad is because I missed the freedom of sims 3. I loved the build and buy. I loved the fact you could change everything's colors. I remember how much fun i had getting creative with everything and with sims 5 it looked like they were going down that route.

Well they could start by making a Sims build only game. Sims Build it or something like that, that only focuses on building that includes all the build items from the expansion packs and more focused building optimization, also including the ability to upload it to the gallery so you could download into sims4.

I dont think it was cancelled. They said Project Renee was an online feature. I think theyve been planning this all along and honestly, im okay with it. Newer life simulations with fresh ideas will hit market and Sims 4 will continue to have a dedicated team to fix bugs for the mountain of dlc already made. Not sure about the new creator market tho, unless creators receive a high majority of the profit. It feels very cash grabby.

Theyre ruining the sims. Not fixing the things that need fixing and giving us crap we never asked for. Its just gonna be a big money grab.
