How Long Does It Take To See Physical Changes During Weightloss? My 120lb Weightloss (With Pictures)

Hey Guys Welcome to my channel! Today I am sharing how I looked at each stage of my weightloss journey to show you long long it can take to see physical changes while you are losing weight and burning fat.

I talk about that stubborn belly fat and how to get rid of it.

Keep in mind that this is my journey, and where I lost weight relatively quickly, on average around 2.5lbs per week, your weightloss will probably look difference. The slower you lose weight the better. about 1lb-2lb weightloss a week is considered generally healthy but it all does depend on your starting weight. Someone who has 100lb or more to lose will lose more weight (or can) in the first few months than someone who has 20lbs to lose.

I am sharing my journey for entertainment purposes, I am not a doctor, pt, nutritionist or ANYTHING, so please always consult a doctor before losing weight yourself, especially if you have an underlying health condition..

I started my weight loss journey about 10 months ago. I started at around 202lbs and I'm now around 153lbs. Still have quite a bit to go but im still sticking with it even when I put weight on or don't lose any.

Wonderful for you. Well done. Nine months ago My weight was 182 lbs. On a small 5 ft. frame that was a lot. I now weigh 111 pounds. I feel like a new person. Heck, I am a new person. It was work, absolutely. But, so worth the time and effort.

Im 249 lbs at 5’8 while being 13. I’ve lost my first 5 lbs and am feeling great!! I started my weight loss journey at age 12 at 230 lbs at around 5’6 I didn’t see any results in the first two weeks and that really hurt, then my dad passed. After my dad passed I stopped and gained weight until present day. 1 1/2 weeks ago I was 254 lbs and have lost 5 pounds and am feeling great. The main difference from now and then was why I’m losing weight. When I first started at 12 I was doing it because I hated myself, now I’m doing it because I want to be a healthier version of me. Hope anyone that sees this realizes that you need to do it for you bettering yourself. I promise the right mindset will make a big difference. ❤❤❤

The way you looked in your before photos is what I looked like at my heaviest, I feel like seeing someone with the same type of body/midsection as me, and seeing the results have motivated me to keep losing the weight. I had a fear of sagging skin because I've been a bigger size for a long time but you look great! This video has given me a fresh boost.

I only took one full body shot at my heaviest, wearing loose pajamas, so I don't fully see the progress ! 😫 started measuring my neck, waist and hips one month in ! I am now 45 pounds down since March 2nd 💪 You are SUCH an inspiration !! Thank you for being there and for being such a lovely person ! 😍

I really regret not taking a starting weight pic, just so used to avoiding the camera! Thanks Louise, it’s really motivating to see the progression x

I’m teary eyed with joy, “you’re not too far gone, no matter if you’re trying to lose 10 or 200lbs!!”
I love you for those beautiful words and all your motivation!! I needed this because I’m in a calorie deficit and it’s so hard I’m 5’3.5 and 332lbs (I weighed myself a week ago), my goal is to lose 182lbs (lose fat and build muscle). I’ve gained and lost weight so many times!! I went from 410lbs to 350lbs From 350lbs to ~250lbs I gained 110lbs back in 2015 I lost 150lbs by January 2016 and got maintained a weight of 200-210lbs for 2yrs. I got pregnant with my son, gained 60lbs after giving birth I lost 38lbs.
That was March 2018, I gained weight again. In 2019, I weighed ~260lbs and was depressed. I started doing yoga and eating better while maintaining a calorie deficit of ~500-700. I lost ~80lbs in 4months. (I worked as a housekeeper which I contribute a lot of my tough workout lol). Next thing I know I weighed 140lbs. I was too small with a large frame so I weight lifted. Gained a little muscle, but the loose skin was way too much for me and I can’t afford excess skin removal surgery so I gained weight back, thinking I would look better fat with no lose skin. (That was crazy as heck to have that mentality, now.) fast forward to one year and six months later, I’m literally twice the size I was before, I went from a size 8/10 (feeling amazing inside) to a 22/24 (where I now feel pain, bloated and sad all the time).
I was going to give up on my keto diet and all today thinking, it’s too hard to lose so much weight again and worrying that I’ll never reach my goal…until I watched your video!! So, thank you very much, I know I can do this now! You’re so beautiful and I’m proud of you for reaching your goal!!

I'm currently at the biggest I've ever been at in my life. When i was fit and at a healthy weight i was one of those people who used to think why don't people just work out if they're unhappy with their body. 3 surgeries(gained 20-30 lbs each time from being sedentary) a baby and 100 lbs later im able to see it from the other side. When i see videos like this it motivates me to take the first step in my journey. Thank you.

I really appreciate the HONESTY of the length of time it took to lose the weight especially the belly fat. There are so many videos about losing that midsection in 5 days and that's not realistic for those who are not already flat bellied lol. Very inspiring and now I have a realistic timeline to work with. Thank you!

Louis, you are saving people's lives at a grand scale. You're so thorough with the details of your journey. I find a lot of people's stories are not as thorough as yours however, you are allowing the world to see exactly how your world is changing with small milestones and within a short amount of time. You are definitely an inspiration for people like myself. Thank you from California. ❤️🤗🙏 You are keeping things real. ❤️

I've done this before and gained back. It takes 30 pounds lost before I or anyone else noticed anything. You are an inspiration, Louise!

Louise, can you talk about dealing with hunger and sticking with the “feeling” of being in a deficit? No one who has lost weight or does weight loss videos ever seems to talk about how they tolerated the hunger mentally and fought through the cravings. When you have been a serious overeater and then massively cut back on calories, it’s inevitable that your body will fight back against you, or at least your mind will, even if your new lifestyle is healthier. How did you push through that?
