The "5090" was confirmed by Zotac to not be a 5090, it was a 4070 ti.

Nvidia stuff isn't interesting or cool anymore. Its all hype and anti consumerism. we need to stop paying attention to this arsehole of a corporation.

I'll be staying on my GOAT 5800X3d Till my system dies. Paired with my RX 6800...

That GPU wasn't a 5090, turns out it's a new 4070TI-Super skew. At least that's the claim of the AIB. And they did show product and packaging for the skew and the product looks like what we see in this vid.

this is why i pulled the trigger and got a killer deal for a X670 this past year. paid 140 for a fullsize ATX board, so for now, i'm using a 7500F from Aliexpress, paid 130 with shipping and i got 64Gb (4X16GB) 6000MHz corsair kit. gonna give this 7500F to my nephew next year for his first PC when i get the 9800X3D or 9950X3D. but yeah, looks like 9000 series X3D chips will be woreth the wait if they don't pricew them too high.

GamerMeld: Nvidia RTX 5090 isn't worth the price
also GamerMeld: let's hope I don't have to sell my car to even afford the RTX 5090

it's so weird that AMD can put out something like this while Intel lied and lied while they were setting computers on fire only to then blame the motherboard manufacturers and people are still talking smack about AMD. Nvidia and Intel have really leveraged the abusive relationship into Stockholm syndrome methodology and it's working like a charm for them. The mental gymnastics I've seen certain people display are future gold medalist caliber. Combined with the ability to maintain braggadocious UWSI because of a product they bought truly makes for an awe-inspiring spectacle.

What I'm really hoping to see soon is a new powerful low voltage chip. The 6800u was a revolution for PC handheld and the newer versions with the 780m gpu are good but if they could make a new chip with the 890m and keep that under 30w it could be HUGE.

Got to go through all their binned CPU's and make as much money as they can.

I bought a new 7800x3d yesterday but haven't opened it yet... I didn't think the 9000X3D chips were going to be that much better. Glad I kept the receipt!

I’m literally in the middle of planning a full system upgrade including a move to AM5(finally). So this is huge news for me lol, let’s just hope it comes in at a reasonable price.

Anyone turning on Gigabyte's "Turbo" mode in the bios is out of their minds. I'd never trust anything they have to say after what they and the other motherboard manufacturers did to intel chips. Who knows what type of fuckery those people are up to and what damage they could cause to your processor 2 years down the line.

Man I am so glad I didn't cave in to get the 7800 X3D when it dropped in price because I wanted the best of the best. Now knowing that is 35% increase in performance makes me super excited

Turbo mode is interesting, but we have to see tests about it, to see consumption rate / temp increases aswel

Living in Canada, I'd probably be looking at least: $100.00 more than what the 9800X3D will List at in the U.S.

I can really appreciate amd continuing the life cycle of am4 but they need to focus on quality releases that are beasts and game changers for the am4 platform.
