Great job. The Good Will Hunting clip was a bit cringy however. I would have liked to share this on social media, but my illusory ego would be a bit too embarrassed by those 3 seconds.

I often experience selflessness on low dosages on 5MeO-DMT, its like I became that perception, e.g. sound I am hearing or the feeling of dissaperance of body boundaries. I guess this is it right ?

"consciousness itself doesn't have this personal quality to it"

Nothing is personal unless I make it so.

The self is an Illusion because our consciousness is non-local. We are not our body but, something much more powerful.

If there is no self, then does that mean that fear, love, and greed dont exist?

There's a difference between "the self" (personal, local), and what some people call "the Self "(non local, not personal) the Universal Self ( or Brahman, the Absolute, God, the source)

Conscious phenomena dissolve back into consciousness. They are made of consciousness.

I want to know what Mr.Harris is identifying as "the self". I think of self as what is created when consciousness is joined with an individual, localized experience. The "localized" consciousness subsequently recognizes a distinction from other conscious agents and becomes aware, by default, of being a self. Why is that an illusion? Isn't it "real" as long as there is a localized consciousness operating in the material universe? If he means "get rid of the body and you get rid of the self", then I'd ask are you suggesting that we live as though we have no body, in order to transcend the inopportunities of existence? I'm more in agreement with Jung that there is a constructed image that we consider self, which he calls the persona, but that the real self is the "unpolluted" consciousness. Opinions?

what's having the "Illusion of the Self"??...or better yet...the Illusion must first be KNOWN to exist before it can be referred to as an Illusion. So...what is it that KNOWS this "Illusion of Self"??...(grin)...
