We have plenty of supply for ourselves. The U.S. wants to keep its foreign sales despite this. So greed on behalf of the U.S. oil companies are the problem. These same companies don’t want the pipeline from Russia to Europe to sell their oil. We have record production, 100% full stockpiles and there’s no reason to raise prices on us.

Additionally, the West has not honored the Minsk Accord of 2014 with Russia.

These are the underlying issues and are based upon corporate profits/interests.

Lastly, the federal government can fiscally spend to expand our products by training labor and building more domestic factories. This is not the monetary fed side but the congressional fiscal side.
