Ukraine conflict: Russian invasion ‘going to plan’, says Vladimir Putin

In Russia, there has been talk of martial law being imposed.

The day has seen another slew of companies severing links with the country, and the Kremlin imposed new legal penalties on anyone attempting to protest about the war in Ukraine.

This afternoon President Putin said in a TV address that his military plan is completely on course.

If I had suspicions that we're not being given the full story on the Ukraine situation, then this report confirmed it. Did Channel 4 not think it was worth taking a look at the resources the man mentioned, if only to respond to them? No. Instead they claim he denied there were casualties, which he absolutely did not- we just watched him speak!
