When you have a logistical meltdown while invading a country next door, you have issues.

"Directly supplying your enemies with more heavy equipment than they had before you started fighting is not the best way to win a war." That is pure gold. 🤣

I was an infantryman in the marines. This war fully shows the meaning of the saying "infantry win battles. Logistics wins wars"

"That's the problem with being a dictator surrounded with yes-men. Nobody is going to tell you the truth!" It's so bizarre that dictators don't take that to heart...even when they see other dictators fall because of it. Narcissism at it's pinnacle.

This is not complicated. Even if he'd have "won" he'd have lost. The revitalization of NATO and permanent change in the EU energy paradigm is an absolute catastrophe

The fact that a Russian fighter jet went down in their own country due to technical issues is very telling.

Before this invasion happened, I had some ingrained vision of Russia's military as this gigantic, intimidating, cold, logical insurmountable force. Boy, has that image been shattered.

Putin asks Shoigu, “Are we winning the war?”. Shoigu answers, “It’s not that bad, we are on the second place”.

I was born in Belarus. All I can say it - it's just a smaller Russia. Absolutely everything in those two countries is rotting from the inside every day and it's getting only worse day by day. My brother, despite the fact he's an airborne, was arrested years ago for 2 days for no reason and beaten up so badly by OMON that his entire body was covered in bruises and also had to pay a fine equivalent to 500$ by the moment. Me and my mom were participatiting in protests of 2020. It was shocking to us how cruel government was to a peaceful protests. Tractors produced by Belarus are so terrible and inefficient that almsot every country that buy them instantly smelt them for parts. The same thing about russian series of processors Elbrus. The best one of them work on frequancy lower then 2 GHz while supporting only DDR4 2666 MHz RAM. Others reach maximum of only 0.5-0.8 GHz. Yet they cost much more then any Intel or AMD processors. And they can't even run Windows! They're running a virtual machine with Windows, so their performance is even worse then it's written on paper because of it. That is ridiculous and hilarious.

I'm no military expert but my years of experience playing civilization tells me Putins waiting to research mechanized tech to upgrade his tanks for 120 Gold and gain the tech edge on his opponent.

I'm sad you didn't mention Ukrainian women using dating apps as well as Ukrainian military to get locations of the military it was pretty awesome to hear about cause it showed that apps like tinder, grinder, and bumble would be used for military purposes

One correction at 6:25. The Russians DID actually launch an airstrike and missile campaign when they invaded. The problem was that the FSB failed to update their old data on the locations of Ukrainian equipment, facilities, and air defenses. They spent about %30 of their rocket supply on this opening strike and mostly hit empty buildings, people’s houses, and vacant lots.

Fighter jets that are supposed to be in regular use went down due to maintenance issues. If corruption caused all kinds of land and air vehicles to suffer so many maintenance failures, I can't imagine the state of their nuclear arsenal. Sure the quick responders should be in good shape, but I don't think their entire arsenal is in good shape.

Russia has always had issues. Think back to Finland in 1939 where 1 soldier killed over 500 soldiers with an old Mosin Nagant and was pretty much the reason the invasion in Finland failed almost 100 days into the invasion.

The Russian Soldiers Motto reads: "We the Unwilling, Led by the Unqualified, Are doing the Illegal and Immoral, For the Ungrateful!" What could go wrong?

All the training and equipment provided by the west was a blessing. But none of this would be possible without the heroic bravery of the Ukrainian people. Every man, woman and child in Ukraine has earned our respect and admiration. Slava Ukraini. God will protect you from the tyrants.
