Each of these skits is a different year or time in my life. I was different ages in all of them. To the trolls: Use your brains, kids. If you even have them.

My boyfriends mom is like this and it’s so sad seeing him being held back from greatness, FROM HIS OWN MOTHER!!! I wanna show him that he can live a happy free life away from all that toxicity

They don’t want to teach you but get pissed when you can’t do things for yourself

If your mom cares about a lie when you were 6, they need help

"You lied to me once when you were six" hit hard.
My dad basically told me that he still thinks I'm a bad person because of a mean note I wrote him when I was in 1st grade. At least he had the decency to pause and think about it after I told him that's a wierd thing to be mad at an adult for 20 years later. I'm alittle concerned that he needed that to be pointed out to him.

I really felt that my parents used to tell me I knew nothing about the real world and then when I wanted to learn they’d make excuses. It took me way too long to learn that it was intentional❤

I’m a senior in high school who still doesn’t know how to wash my hair thanks to my mom 🙃🙃🙃

'You lied to me once when you were 6! '
Yes, kids will lie once or twice, it's part of being a human.

My mum is exactly like this, she doesn’t watch me wash my hair but she forces me to do all my schoolwork in front of her and she forces me to sleep with her (I will be 14 in a week or so) even though I have my own room and have requested that I be allowed to sleep by myself many times… and when the video said “you lied to me once … when you were six” was so relatable, I have the exact same thing said to me.

My mother WHO ADOPTED ME did and still does things like this all the time. It’s so frustrating being constantly blamed and controlled all the time 😭

As someone with naturally curly hair, people always did it for me and gaslit me saying I couldn’t do it by myself. When I stopped letting them wash it and I started doing it my hair got healthier and went stopped getting matted so easily

As somebody that knows a lot about hair it’s actually better to condition before shampooing so there’s a layer to protect your hair while shampooing so your hair isn’t directly

I felt that my parents used to tell me I knew nothing about the real world and then when I wanted to learn they’d make excuses. It took me way too long to learn that it was intentional and what made it worse was how my sisters told me that’s how it works and then I did what I was told and it ended up with my sister hitting me in the face with a phone under my eye and having to go to the hospital at 12:00 am🩸
