I started training like a boxer to give me something to do besides aimlessly working out and man jumping rope kicks your ass. Also, hitting a punching bag hard for 4-5 timed boxing rounds kills you. Great way to get in shape y’all listen to the man.

Honestly, it feels great to do all fancy sneaks and other tricks, but yes… when I’m out for a walk and I just get into a nice underhand flow, it’s amazing what it does for your regular walking pattern

When I was jumping rope consistently on cement it led to shin splints. I bought a 1 inch mat to lay on top.

Great tip. I usually do 1-3 min of work / 30-90 seconds rest. Going to start doing this during the rest periods.

Jump rope is so fun and challenging, so many way to spice up the thing like alternating legs, different kind of jumps, going slow fast slow fast and the best at the end of the workout just burn at maximum speed and trying to don't mess up

I'm gonna try this one from today on.
I've been doing 2 min jumps and 30 sec rest for 30 mins (i Haven't seen any video on this so i just flatter myself that i invented this😅)

I get really bored and angry from tedious cardio (I should work on that) but I could do cardio for hours if there is music and moves to learn. I like the jump roping with the tricks cause then I have to still do regular jump roping just to get more controlled strength with the tricks but all of a sudden I can make myself do it cause the reward is getting better at a trick lol.
