What if the past, present and future is happening simultaneously but we don't perceive it that way due to our linear interpretation of time?

The thing about time, is that time isn't a thing. It's a concept.

The concept of time emerged into the human psyche as a tool of measuring cycles. The Sun will rise tomorrow not because there's a tomorrow for it to rise, but rather it's rising gives rise to our concept of tomorrow.

The universe is primarily mechanistic by nature and what we call time is based on observations of the movements of those mechanisms.

Consciousness is like a needle on a record player. The record being played is the universe. The individual tracks on that record are the beings within it, being played one at a time but appearing to be simultaneous from our lowly perspective. And the multi-verse is the record collection which reproduces itself infinitely.

Since time is relative, when you die the entire universe ends too, and another record gets put on.

the only thing that comes to mind with regards to this question is that if there were aliens in a distant star system, and they were able to take a look at Earth, they would see Earth not as it is NOW, at the time they are taking a look, but as it was in the 18th century (as an example), bc of the time light takes to travel all the way to their distant galaxy. This is what a quantum physics documentary explained, as an example. I wish I could find it, I'd include a link. It was on Youtube for sure. It doesnt really answer the question of whether the future exists or not, but for sure it reminds us that TIME IS RELATIVE to the observer.

I actually thought of this question for a long time and knew the answer! The answer was:
If you were to travel to the future, it would be an empty void. Why? Because time only goes one direction at a certain speed, so you can’t go to the future because time itself is in the time you were in before you entered the future. You’d be able to see the future when time comes to the empty void you’re in, but now it’s the present for you.

My belief is all history, past, present and future already exists, but from our perspective we are still creating history moment by moment.

Technology is proving how infinite the universe truly is.
Infinite in a sense that once we hit a technology wall, we always overcome it by creating a new way of travel or exploit it in our daily lives until we know the technology well enough to enhance its performance.

The past doesn't exist anymore the future doesn't exist the present is here.

Time is a concept by which we measure our pain.

I missed your voiceover. You sound a lot like the new Brightside narrator.

Could you mention what theories support it ? I'm trying to find any arguments for it, but I couldn't

Here's the answer to your issue: Every particle has its own clock, courtesy of the special theory of relativity. So there is no such thing as Newton's "absokute time, " which is the fallacy that everyone falls into when they try to "explain" the future and the present. Even when someone uses the "light cone" to explain things, technically, that only applies to a single particle vs the rest of the universe. This is also why you will NEVER be able to create a time machine and "go back in time, " becuase there is nowhere to go "to." Everything is more properly viewed as "the Now, " with every particle whizzing along on its own time/clock.

Aren’t the block universe, growing block universe, presentism, and any number of the others; are all just words coined to abstract ideas of inventive minds/biological brains in an imaginary plane of a language? Words are another set of outputs in a process of conversion just as any number of conversions ( like oceans becoming cloud due to evaporation) happening in any number of dynamic environments ? Time is simply a word coined to describe all such relationships and their conversions to newer relationships. If we ignore the relationships then there would be nothing to describe and no need for a word to describe it - the ignored/non-existing relationships - and time will just disappear (past, present, future) . There would be no arrow of time and time would just cease to exist. It’s the perception of relationships that gives rise to time. If we cease to relate, time also ceases.

I like the growing block hypothesis. 3D-space is expanding. Why shouldn't the time dimension also be expanding right along with it? That expansion could be what we experience as the passing of time.
