I've been using High-5's 4:1 mix for some years now. When riding at race pace, at one 750ml bottle per hour this gives me 52g of carbs and 13g of protein at the recommended concentration. To this I add a 23g gel plus half a carb bar, for 110g of carbs per hour - and zero fat. I find in racing and training it works as well as pure carbs, except I feel better in the last half of the race or ride, I rarely have problems with stomach upset, and I feel less fatigued both immediately afterwards and for the next ride. I weigh around 80kg.

I was set up with TB high volume and a bit before that was to start I moved to low volume. I'm well through the first block. I've done HV in the past, but I need to add in strength training too. Cheers.

Hannah, Many of the commonly prescribed antibiotics are associated with hemolytic anemia (red cell breakdown). It is not a direct effect of the antibiotic, but an immune response that attacks the red blood cells. A quick pass through the literature gives the impression that it is assocated with the type of infecton being treated as well.

Mmm a “Columbine burrito” 😂😂😂 🤢🤢
Loved what Hannah said about nutrition being a decision. So true.
Loved what she said about nutrition in general!

There are some antibiotics than can make you more sun sensitive. Luckily I ride with my doctor and he takes my riding in consideration with my prescriptions. Pro tip: find a doctor that rides 😀👍

This the first time I has listened to this and thought 'Are you kidding me?' In a world where people decide they can be selective of what is true and what is fantasy it is dangerous to suggest that a prescribed antibiotic, that was given because the person had gotten an infection, was causing them to not gain performance. You yourself said their was no study that shows that evidence so I must wonder if I stumbled into Coach Chad does shrooms. What's the next topic? I broke my leg and I wonder if the cast it making me slower... spoiler alert ... no its the broken leg.

I think it's just the infection you're fighting that's affecting your performance more than antibiotics.

No more Trivia... Just keep to the items that make you faster. Perhaps put that comedy stuff somewhere else.
