Pitbulls are the absolute sweetest dogs! They are only mean if their owner sucks. Too bad that firefighter was second guessing rescuing them just because they're pitbulls. Animals deserve rescue just as much as people.

I was glad to see that the fire people went to the overturned vehicle and removed the dog first. As the owner of dogs who often travel with me, I'd refuse to be released first. Take my dog when I'm able to tell him to go, and keep him relaxed, and then take your time getting me out.
Had they tried to take the owner first the dog might have panicked and tried to follow him out and the owner would have got agitated and wanted to protect his dog.

Incidentally, about 40 years ago, someone had set a snare on my property. My cat got snared around her middle but managed to pull the stake up and get home. She ran up my large willow tree in her panic. Of course I went up after her to make sure the stake didn't get snagged and perhaps cause her to struggle and slip, leading to the snare tightening.
Problem was that I couldn't climb down again. Adrenalin had got me up there. Hubby called the fire brigade who put a ladder up and wanted to take me down first. I refused point blank. I needed my cat to be safe and she would allow me to handle her and place her inside a canvas bag and close the neck of it. Once she was down, I was happy to be helped down.

A cat bite can get infected in under 6 hours. ALWAYS go to the doctor if you get bitten by a cat! You will need strong antibiotics. I rescue ferals. I was bitten by one a few months ago. I immediately washed and disinfected it but still had to go to the hospital 6 hours later because it was infected. Shout out to the guy doing the Crocodile Hunter impression! That was freakin' hilarious!!!

The cat went crazy because the owner wanted t dress it up in clothes. When it objected and scratched her hand she kicked it, hence all the wounds on her feet. There's nothing wrong with the cat, it just needs to be found a home out on a farm where it can behave like a cat, sleep in barns, chase and catch mice, climb trees. Not stuck in a small flat with a dotty old dear who wants to dress it up like a dolly and who keeps the poor sod shut in the flat.

Anyone who leaves dogs locked in a car on a warm day should have every window broken and the insurance informed and the insurance should make a clause saying that if windows were broken to rescue animals or babies, they won't pay out.
People only learn a lesson if it hurts them.

I love firemen and women, then2 pits were pit mixes maybe and the only one of the men afraid of them was the black fireman, one can tell of a dog is aggressive 99% of the time. I deliver for Amazon and the only time I got bit was when the owner said he’s fine don’t worry- right
