Yes! Coalfire is my 3rd favorite pizza spot in Chicago! Let's go! Also Dave I've eaten Coalfire fresh inside of the restaurant and it is always floppy like that. The one thing separating it from being the best is the lack of crisp, but the flavor is phenomenal. Now Dave for the grand finale... You have to review the #1 spot in Chicago.... Jimmy's Pizza Café!

I've had pizza from this place too many times to count. That's how it comes, they do like a hybrid style between a neopolitan and a connecticut coalfire style. They do really have a coal oven though. You actually see them shoveling coal into it like a steam engine.

I think the boxes are made that way because Chicago is known as “the Windy City” so wind would blow those boxes open on your way to your car, but if you put in those flaps, the wind can’t open it

I saw coal fire and got excited. But then disappointed because its not the one we have. There a coal fire pizza in Maryland that i love their signature sauce pizzas. Would love to see a review of them.

The trick to no flop when it sits in the box waiting for pick up is to keep it on the oven or in the oven on the coldest side. I've picked up pizza 15 minutes later that told it be no flop and piping hot. They always leave it on or in the oven when I'm late
