something of note is that with the recent version now, enabling EFI makes it so you cant start installation, so you need to turn it off

About minute 15:30 I got a prompt while it was installing asking "Would you like to chroot into the newly created installation and perform post-installation configurations? [Y/n]". Choosing yes got me lost so I started over and by choosing no go to the "Installation completed" message.

Instead of selecting drives I get asked to select BlockDevices, after I selected it then pressed enter again while it was blank to proceed its asking me what to do with the other blockdevices.

When i start it it gives me this error message :

I am going to install Arch on a VM with that Xmonad and see what I like. I haven't installed anything on hardware yet. I just bought a new laptop. This other guy made a tutorial about how to install Arch and delete it without screwing up the MBR. I think his channel is Linux Made Simple? Not sure. Instead of creating an addition UEFI, he just mounts the existing windows EFI partition and runs grub. Pretty nifty.

Theory: Videos like these are virtual machines inside virtual machines.
- There's no recording or video editing software on the taskbar.
- The username is savvy.
- The desktop as well as windows is mint clean, almost brand new, on each episode. This possibly means he either reinstalls windows every time, uses a snapshot, or deep cleans the OS.
