I don’t know what it is. I’ve been filmmaking for over 30 years and somehow your videos put me at peace in a way that I just can’t explain. Your filmmaking skills are stellar and you are surrounded with an energy that is so positive it seems to come right through my phone and into my life. Sorry for the sappy comment. Honey don’t ever wish to rush your life! Old age will come so fast you will look back and think to yourself what the hell happened and how did I get here so fast. I’m 65 and it seems like yesterday that I was your age. If I had it to do all over again I would take the opposite path than what I chose many times. I regret not standing up for myself and letting a man determine what I did. I only was trying to protect my children from possibly going hungry or anything bad that could have happened. Live your life to the fullest dear and have courage (unlike me) I’ve learned now I should have loved myself as much as I loved my children. I just wanted to give you insight from an older woman whose life passed her by so fast she wishes she could go back and change many things that I was too afraid to do. Have fun, love deeply and demand that you are loved just as much. Peace and blessings to you 🕊️❤

I was born in Spokane, WA and then moved to Alaska, and then to Seattle, then to Maui and back to Seattle and back to Spokane to finally settle in New York. Your videos bring me such peace. Hey Isabel, thank you so much for working each day to share your December with us! So happy that you get to spend the winter with your family, and that you finally have the opportunity to take a little break from the farm/homestead life. It can be a lot. Don’t feel bad for resting — rest is a sacred action, and all of our ancestors would have been doing the same now that the harvest season has fully come to a close. Winter is all about retreating inwards, restoration, and dreaming in the seeds that will we will sow for the coming year. Remember to enjoy the process!
