Is awesome to see how each country doing the things in each way. Here in Brazil, we use the same tools like your "floating diamond" and your sponge. To render an entire wall we first use the coat to build guides in edges of the wall. So after it, we apply the coat in one layer. And with a "ruler", basically an aluminum rule to cut the coat using the guides. After it we fill again the holes and more rulers...After it we use your float diamont to smooth everything. And to finish, the sponge. Of course with help with like a brush tool to spray water in wall to help.
We call "rebocar" the process to apply coat. Normally we dont use any electric machine to do this.
Thank you for your videos.

A patch-Render on a normal house is a PAIN in the Dooh-Dah's .... On a building like that you need some sort of medal .... Fair play for cracking it out without too much hastle 🤠

For rubbed render, the sponge has always been a friend, I love the scratch tool, I used to make mine out of old bicycle spokes and an old paint brush, my mixer was an old bicycle crank welded to a T bar made from old electrical zinc tubes they used in factories to feed the wiring around if I could make it rather than buy it I did,

Really like your content. Been watching your videos for ages. I’m in need of a bit of help. DIY hobbies at most so please don’t hate me:

I’ve sand and cemented the side of my house. And 90% looks great. But after final coats of paint. I noticed a few high and low spots. The low spots are an easy fix. But the high spots I think are from my base render being to high and my final coat being to thin. How best to fix them?

Hi mate, I’m going to to blocking up a door and replacing with just a shorter window. So I will have around 1m x 800mm to patch render. How do I join on to the old render ? Cheers

Looks like nice product to use. I've seen your video about plastering chimney stack for wood burning stove. If you were doing it again would you use weber or still go for sand and cement??

Hi there. HELP!! I remodelled a wall to brick up a doorway and create double doors and some areas needing rendering are nearly 50mm deep and 0.5m in size. From my research more than 25mm render in two layers is not recommended. How do I tackle that? I'd really appreciate any advice and thanks for your AMAZING videos. BTW, funny scary music 😂
