Moving out of state checklist

In this video we discuss all the things you need to remember to do when moving out of state. We include tips that are oftentimes forgotten and also give you a good timeline of when you should do things when planning a move out of state.

I’m a full-time Realtor in Clermont, Florida of nearly two decades. I also am an Air Force Veteran who loves spending time outdoors hiking a mountain with a great view. Great video. Remember if you have pets like cats and dogs, they will probably need health certificates (no more then 10 days before) and rabies proof when crossing states lines. It is one of those things that might not be needed but better to be safe and be a non issue if you are asked.

Also if you have anything important in a safety deposit box. Make sure you remember to clean it out and close it down with the bank. We almost forgot to do that and it would have been a headache to fly back into our hometown just to grab those important items.

I agree with uhaul including the cost of gas is cheaper then pods and full service movers. Plus with pods and movers there's no guarantee your stuff will arrive in tact.
