For decades now I have totally avoided repairs and grief, I dive Toyota cars, no repairs ever, seriously ! I have owned rav, the pickup, the really sporty model can’t remember the model name and the two Prius we currently own. All great cars, easy on the wallet and no, repeat no repairs.
Windows, doors, lock, mirrors, ac, radios, sun roofs, engines, transmissions, interior nothing breaks. I am basically religious about oil changes and basic maintenance . I have new oil and filter every 5, 000 miles, keep good tires and just enjoy trouble free driving.

I think the thing I appreciate most about channels like this and Scotty is how they show us the stark differences between DRIVING a car and OWNING a car. ECPP and Scotty shows us that a car that looks great and drives really nice but is unreliable and expensive to repair is not a consumer friendly vehicle.

I had an Audi ttrs with 60 k miles and definitely past the warranty have catastrophic engine failure. It’s been sitting at a shop waiting for another engine which is pretty hard to find.

2005 to 2009 focus needs no warranty. Irritating engine vibration will come through the body for 250, 000 miles, but the 4sp automatic and 2.0L just keep on going.

I'd say pretty much any European car, especially high performance ones, will give you maintenance problems without a warranty. I say this as a GTI owner.
