Ryan Newman Daytona 500 crash, worst wreck in Nascar history?

The checkered flag at the 2020 Daytona 500. Ryan Newman wrecks hard. People are saying one of the worst wrecks in Nascar history.

What really pissed me off about this is the fact that the victory celebration went on while Ryan was still trapped in his car.
Same thing when Michael won the 500 the day Dale Sr died.
Victory celebration was going on and Dale was dying (if not dead) still in his car.

so many other worse wrecks, Rusty Wallaces wrecks at Dega and Daytona in '93, just for starters, Michael Waltrip wreck at Bristol where his car got split in half, Austin Dillons catch fence wreck, Richard Pettys catch fence wreck, Carl Edwards catch fence wreck. and thats just the tip of the iceberg.

My father used to race. I was 6 years old. Never ceased to amaze me when there was a crash and the crowd went wild. Every time I see this that memory comes back in full color. Unforgettable!
