Android Backup Camera Installation Guide - 4 Steps

1, you will see two same AV cables, one connect to device AV in; another connect to reverse camera AV in
2, connect with the triger wire, you can find this in wiring diagram (triger wire used to detect if in triger gear, so it will supply 12V to power the camera)
3, connect to another AV in and reverse camera power supply connector.
4, then there will left 2 power + and 1 power -;
2 power + wire to tail light +
1 power - wire to car body (GND) or tail light -

P.s this is a night vision camera you need to select AHD 25 HZ signal, if other signal it won't show the image.

Just finished installing the rear camera on my Prado... Well... This is NOT about wiring... This is about disassembling the whole car from the dashboard to the back door... Took me the whole day. And the steps above took me only 10 minutes thereof... Thanks to Toyota - they use a good plastic parts! Only a few broke while this operation.
Don't be fooled: this is NOT an electrical job. This is about finding out how to correctly disassemble all the trims and not to break too many of the holding clips. Good luck!

I want an Android dashcam, but I already have an aftermarket rearview camera on my car, connected to a monitor on my dash.
The seller of the dashcam says my camera will not work on the Android dashcam.
I find that hard to believe.
The only difference is that the AV-in on the dashcams they sell is a jack or a round 4 pin plug. I bet an adapter cable from RCA does the trick?

Followed the installation guide exactly, but when I put the car in reverse I don't get an image. I can use the HD2 Streaming app and the camera works but has no tracking lines. Any help would be appreciated.

Nobre, essas centrais que trabalham com plug de 4 pinos internos, aqueles fininhos. Eles servem pra adaptar na central de camera Panoramic Driving Auxiliare 360°, onde os plug são RCA iguais a esses aí? Consigo adaptar, visto que nesse central de camera tem 4 saídas rca fêmea e um fio vermelho pra alimentação 12v, e no chicote com conector postmaster de 4 vias, será que dar certo, ou também tem um detalhe na instalação? Qual ? Esse chicote de 4 pinos foi de uma central android e eu quero fazer instalação nessa 360 numa First option MP5. Na verdade, já tentei várias vezes aqui e não deu certo, acho que até as câmeras da outra central android trabalha com 3v ou algo do tipo, acho que tem algum detalhe que não está batendo, e se trabalhar com 3v, lascou tudo, pq apliquei os 12v como nas outras centrais.

Hello brother really need you help I have a bmw f20 with android head unit I have three wires with the head unit CCD+12v, BACK & ACC which one do I connect the red wire with yellow av too and do I need to connect power wire yellow red wire to reverse light for it to work. My cars a manual if that changes anything.

Hi. I installed the stereo and the camera but the picture is upside down. I can't find how to straighten the image on the monitor. Is there a way to put the picture the right way y up, without moving the actual camera?

Do you know how I can set in setings to show reverse picture when I put in reverse? Everything is connected good but when I put transmission in reverse, nothing happen. I must touch icon for camera if I want to start a camera. Then, when I put transmission in 0 possition, picture from camera still staying on display and I need to touch displey to get out from camera

I was trying to get through the rubber and I damaged the end of the cable. I decided to cut and run the wire because it was thinner, now I bought a new P2 power cable. Can I just cut it too and splice it to my old one? I saw that there are 3 wires.

QUESTIONS: I have an '09 Corolla and installing 9" head unit. 1) Must the brake wire be connected to the black ground wire to by-pass emergency brake to watch videos while driving? 2) To have a camera icon on head unit and to see behind the car without being in reverse, did you connect the reverse trigger wire from RCA cable from rear camera to red Accessory wire and also the head unit reverse wire (mine is a brown wire) for when car is put in reverse? 3) I have two yellow RCA connectors from head unit. One connector is labeled 'CCD AVIN' and the other connector is labeled 'Aux-V'. The Camera RCA cable connector coming from the camera plugs into which of the two RCA connectors in order to establish a signal for the rear camera? 4) I have a pink wire from the head unit labeled, 'With protocol model output 12V can be connected to the camera'. Is this pink wire like an accessory wire for the rear camera to view behind the car with out being in reverse? Should I use this wire instead of the red accessory wire to have a camera icon on head unit and see behind the car without being in reverse? 5) I connected the RCA cables together at the head unit and the trigger wire to the red wire off of the RCA cable, but I get no reverse camera picture on the head unit. When I go to the rear camera, the LED lights up when in reverse. Why no reverse camera picture on head unit? Thank You for All Your HELP!!!
