Bitlocker, admin rights etc can get in the way.

faster to just click command prompt instead of launching safe mode, then del then hit tab here so it autocompletes because the file has a different name depending on the machine, then enter and reboot.

I had end users calling me that their computers had the Crowd-something virus this morning. This got really old really fast. I don't know how many times I repeated the same thing and no one would listen. Kept telling them that if you can boot to windows but you can't bring up web pages on any machine in the house then you can't possibly have this problem. Do you use Crowdstrike for system protection? "No." THEN YOU CAN'T HAVE THIS PROBLEM. Your internet provider is down. Which may be related to this problem, but it's not you or your computers. Just wait a while today and see if it starts working again. But I swear, no one would listen.

I am suprised even my windows xp pc was infected. My mom's windows 11 laptop was on cuz i was playing music with a big sound systen woofer, and both crashed at the same time and my xp pc had an unsaved project and i literally almost ate the keyboard, and damn, the speakers, those loud 50hz buzz from the laptop literally scared me

I don't have "startup repair" in advanced options. Does anyone else have that issue? Is there another way to boot in safe mode using "command prompt"?
