DAY 3 AM 360° Breathing - Energizing Breaths with Qi Gong inspired moves to Wake You Up!
Показать описание
The breathing technique used after your warm up has been called the double espresso of breathing practices. After a short QiGong practice, it will be time to supercharge your body and brain with rapid breathing and arm movements.
This practice is similar to yoga breathing practices like Bellows Breathing or Bhastrika Pranayama and Kapalabhati Pranayama or Skull Shining Breath where increasing energy is the desired result.
So, instead of reaching for a caffeinated beverage, reach for the sky and breathe like you mean it for that pick-me-up. Your arms overhead will further allow your abdomen to expand, your diaphragm to engage and your ribcage to open up and you forcibly inhale. In fact, a study at Boston University concluded that we increase our air intake when we have our arms up at shoulder height and it continues for a bit when we bring our arms down. Talk about a bio hack!
Enjoy the lift and heed this WARNING: Do not do this before bed because you may not be able to sleep well directly after this video. It will give you energy.
If you cannot take big inhalations through your nose, use your mouth and think about doing these videos to help open your nose:
SINUS EXERCISES
Sinus Drainage
Sinus Headache
Sinus Relief
