Box Breathing for Stress Management - |DAY 7 PM of 360° Breathing| - Decrease Anxiety
Показать описание
Here is the last session of the 14 video series where you will warm up with relaxing Box Breathing and end with breathing in while focusing on a positive word and breathing out while focusing on expelling a negativity. Box breathing is also known as square breathing and four-square breathing. It is a breathing technique that uses slow, deep breaths. It is known to heighten performance and concentration amongst athletes and is a powerful stress reliever.
This technique can be beneficial to anyone, especially those who want to meditate or reduce stress. When someone has a high-stress job like a Navy Sea, a police officer, an ER nurse or any other unpredictable stressful job, box breathing can allow a greater amount of stress without being stressed-out. This is another wonderful example of the power of conscious breathing.
You may find this video, and the entire series, particularly helpful if you have a lung disease such as chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) or have anxiety.
Now sit in a relaxed position and get ready for an mental and emotional cleanse reaping in a calming of a balanced autonomic nervous system (Mayo Clinic), a sense of calm, a relaxed feeling in your body, an elevated mood and even some benefit from pain management.
Let me know how your sleep is affected as breath-work like this can help insomnia by allowing you to proactively calm your nervous system before bed.
Pleasant dreams...
NOTE: This series is highly focused on torso expansion. For nose and throat clarity, add our Snoring and Sleep Apnea videos:
