Beginner Python Exercise in Blender: Simple cube location animation

This is a video exercise for Blender Python beginners.
We will write a Python script that animates a Cube's location creating a loop.

I was going over nodes and actually I find the best way would be to actually learn Scripting to get a better understanding and be at the end able to get thing more controlable unsure if it is the right way ;)
