Connecting to Wi-Fi and Using SSH - Raspberry Pi for Developers

In this video, I will show you how to connect your raspberry pi to a wifi network and log in to the pi to control it wirelessly using SSH. This is called a headless setup.

This is the second in a video series about how to get started making things with a raspberry pi. It is targeted at existing developers but will be helpful to you no matter what your background is.

For this video, you will need a raspberry pi with Raspbian Linux installed.

I am having a great deal of trouble with running ssh for my new Raspberry Pi Zero. I keep getting the 'could not resolve host name / no such host is known.' issue. I already set up my micro sd card with ssh access and username password, but nothing is working.

Hello, in CMD, have a windows 7, i get a message of ssh is not recognized as a internal command or external... Is there another way to use cmd prompt?

It doesn't work :(. I did the same as you but my raspberry pi doesnt connect to the wifi.
(my Password and ssid is correct)
and the router is sending in 2.4 and 5Ghz.
