Believe it or not, your tutorial is still helping people. When I got the MX530 a few years ago I followed the instructions. Like so many have expressed it was a nightmare. Finally, I got it connected to my network. Unexpectedly the printer connection was dropped. I was not looking forward to going through the setup once again. I came across your tutorial. The printer was connected in 2 minutes. It's mindboggling that Canon would not have this method printed on a "Quick Setup" guide. Thank you very, very much. I had not used this printer very much. It is five years old with less than 500 prints. I changed its location in the house and had to reset it. I was about to go buy a new one because I could not get it up and going again. You just saved me a couple hundred bucks. I do need new ink. But, that is a lot less expensive than a new printer. Thank you! Covid 19 brought my work home. Having the printer up and going is a real blessing.
